THE Nigerian music and entrepreneur circles are about to witness the emergence of a dynamic force as Blessing Chisom Ohuakanwa, professionally known as GINAA, unveils her music and fashion line.
GINAA, an Afrobeat singer and songwriter from Imo State, has always been drawn to the creative arts. Her journey into music began in Owerri, where she worked as support staff in a recording studio after completing her secondary education. While there, she honed her craft by providing backup vocals for various artists, sparking her passion for a career in music.
Determined to balance her artistic aspirations with academic excellence, GINAA relocated to Lagos to study Business Administration at the University of Lagos (Unilag), where she graduated with a Second-Class Upper in 2024.
Her musical journey took off in 2019 with the release of her debut single, Bobo Eko. While she recorded several other songs, she chose to prioritize her education, delaying their release until late 2023 when she dropped Fine Girl. After her convocation in January 2025, she fully committed to building her personal brand and music career.
Beyond music, GINAA has a deep-rooted passion for fashion and cosmetics.
This has inspired her to venture into the fashion industry, launching her own fashion line that reflects her unique style and creativity.
With this move, she is set to make an impact not only in the entertainment industry but also in the fashion world.
