’GCA has been partner with ACA for years’

Ghalp Caregivers Academy, Nigeria (GCA) under the leadership of its President, Dr David Olalekan, and the newly constituted Board of Trustees has announced that GCA has been an affiliate of American Caregiver Association (ACA) since September, 2016.

ACA is the National Standard for caregiver certification and is the final authority regarding caregiver certification at the national level in the United State of America. That the affiliation granted GCA authorises GCA to enrol, train and certify students on behalf of ACA throughout the African continent. This notice is to publicly exonerate ACA from any alleged wrong-doings in the current quagmire of invalid certificate numbering / production in Nigeria.

A release signed by Oguntoye Abiodun Stephen for the organisation stated that “We would like to state categorically that American Caregiver Association (ACA) has NOT issued any fake/invalid certificate to any GCA student under any guise. All certificates issued by ACA through GCA so far are valid. Any student(s) whose name is wrongly arranged should therefore expect proper rectification.

“The racketeering imbroglio that GCA finds herself is as a result of certain mischievous elements taking advantage of their close association with GCA to defraud the public. GCA deeply regrets the unfortunate incident and assures the public that our law enforcement agencies and our legal team are on top of the matter.

“This public notice clarifies that VAST TRAVELS & TOURS (and Mr Martins Adebayo), MERIT CHOICE LIMITED (and Mr Gbeminiyi Oluwabukola) have no business affiliation with American Caregiver Association (ACA) hence the two aforementioned organisations should cease and desist from contacting ACA directly either by email or through any other means.

“GCA students are equally advised that no more certificates will be issued until a valid student’s certificate list is presented through GCA with payments clearance. All matters in respect of valid and authentic students of GCA are to be channelled through the official E-mail of GCA thus: ghalpcaregiversacademy@gmail.com.”
