The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Umar Ganduje, on Thursday, led some governors from the party to a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The delegation was said to have presented the Edo State governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, to the President.
Governors in attendance included Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Usman Ododo (Kogi), and Dapo Abiodun (Ogun).

Also part of the entourage were the senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole, and Edo’s Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared the APC candidate victorious in the September 21 gubernatorial election, despite allegations of irregularities.
