There is no doubt that Otunba Gani Adams remains avant-garde of the Yoruba vanguard for promotion of Yoruba culture and traditional values, proponent of Yoruba struggle for self determination and die-hard advocate of total restructuring of Nigeria This unassailable fact was confirmed and firmly rooted by the arch-custodian of Yoruba culture and traditional values, his Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi, who compensated him with the conferment of the most highly valued and enviable traditional chieftaincy of Aare-KaKanfo of Yorubaland on him last year January 13, 2018. The day, of course, will remain indelible in the heart of all and sundry in Nigeria.
Buhari has history of bringing in looted funds, Atiku says
Like the ticking hands of the clock, it is exactly one year that the avatar and the proud son of Yoruba race was conferred as the generalissimo of Yorubaland. As the Yorubas would be say, “to talk about a person’s trait and character is not as important as meeting him as being portrayed.” Otunba Gani Adams was described as a man of courage and valour and indeed lives up to the expectations in the discharge of the enormous responsibilities attached to the office of Aare Ona Kakanfo.
He has in all actions and deeds, been justifying the oracular vision of Alaafin’s enunciation that he merited being conferred with the honour.
As Aare Gani Adams is marching on in his calling as the man honoured with Yoruba’s highest military rank, my admonitions to him are; to continue to make his country proud as a cultural promoter, pathfinder extraordinaire, and ambassador of note, to forge on defending the territorial integrity of Yoruba race, to continue to advocate for the rights of the people of Nigeria under his proponent agenda for total restructuring of the entity called Nigeria.
