Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje
Kano State governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, has commiserated with the families of six Islamic clerics who lost their lives in an autocrash while returning from Sumaila local government, recently.
According to him, “the death of these gentlemen is not only a great loss to their families, but to the state as a whole. It was a real tragedy,”
He said: “We learned that, the Clerics, under the leadership of one Sheikh Alkassim Zakariyya, went on a tour under Imam Malik Islamic Foundation.
“Our dear state lost people of substance who are God fearing like Sheikh Alkassim, Malam Isiya Tela, Mustapha Musa Sa’ad, Malam Ishaq Rummawa, Malam Zakariyya Alkassim Dataka. May Allah forgive them.”

Ganduje said: “On behalf of the government and people of Kano State. I am extending our condolences to their families, Imam Malik Islamic Foundation and their friends for the great loss.
“May Allah forgive all their shortcomings and reward their good deeds with Jannatul Fiddaus.”
