Daniel, who reportedly signed a four-year deal with the record label announced his exit after the expiration of his contract from the label with a photo that captioned Fly Boy I.N.C (FBI), a development that was said to have jolted his former label.
The Yeba singer was said to have walked away from the label over its failure to review his four-year deal that barred him from collaborating with any other artistes in the industry but his label mates.
This was said to have placed some restrictions on Daniel, who reportedly waited for the deal to be reviewed, but had to walk away when he realised his fate was hanging.
While Daniel has absolved himself of any wrong doing, saying there was no rift between him and his former record label, same cannot be said of his former label, which has refused to comment on the development.
Efforts made by R to get the official response of the company’s representative to comment failed as none of its represenatives was willing to speak on the matter.
