G-Druz comes out of shell with new single, features Skales

For Gabriel Charles, Nigeria’s fast-rising music sensation, the time to hit the ground running is now.

With a fresh single that is enjoying massive airplay across radio stations and a video that was released just a few days ago, the joy of being one of the most talked about music stars is nothing compared to pushing one’s career to the next level.

Signed to GDR Records as one of its frontline acts, Charles who is otherwise known as G-Druz is fast pushing his way into the minds of many music lovers and registering it on the lips of his fans within and outside the country with a voice and vibes that apparently place him above many of his contemporaries in the industry. The sky does not appear to be the limit for this budding artiste.

His new single, ‘Slow’ says it all about G-Druz, whose decision to have Nigeria’s Afro Pop singer, Skales, on his new track illustrates the essential difference between him and his colleagues. Produced by award-winning music producer, Young D, G-Druz’s alliance with Skales made the new song something everybody wants to talk about.

With the visuals shot in Lagos by Ajayi Scenelock and released less than a week ago, G-Druz said he has waited patiently sharpening and polishing his art before going professional in 2014 when he released his popular single, Ire.

According to him, “I have waited enough to understanding the dynamics of the industry and how to play the game. Right now, my new single, Slow tells the whole story about my music and my personality. They say slow but steady wins the race, I guess this word is holding true for me at the moment. The video was released less than a week ago and I am glad that my fans all over fell in love with it just like they did with the audio. Now, we are not stopping again. From now, it is going to be music all the way,” he said.
