The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu will address the G-20 summit at 10:30 am Nigerian Time in New Delhi.
Tinubu will be addressing the topic of global Unity in the ‘One Earth- One-Family-One-Future’ session at the summit, which will be held at the Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
President Tinubu had earlier been welcomed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the venue of the G-20 Summit where he will be delivering his speech.
Just earlier, Nigerian Tribune Online reported that the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi announced today that the African Union will become a permanent member of the Group of 20 (G20).
Modi in his opening speech, Modi invited the chair of the African Union, Azali Assoumani, to take his seat as a permanent member of the grouping as other leaders applauded and looked on.
The African Union is a continental body consisting of the 55 member states that make up the countries of the African continent.
