EMA, renowned for its commitment to recognising exceptional individuals, described Ajayi as a woman of excellence and hailed her for her love for youths, progress of the people and her selfless services to humanity.

Speaking about her award and what it meant to her,  Ajayi noted that she may have encountered a series of challenges in the course of discharging her duties and making events memorable, the recognitions that keep coming her way showed that she is on the right path and would continue to a source of joy to many.

According to her: “It is evident that celebrations take place in several parts of the world daily. Such reality opens room for job opportunities as well as economic and social developments. It is a huge industry with wide arrays of specialisations, even though the industry has been existing for a long time.

“We now see more university graduates venturing into events planning—most of whom do not have a background in hospitality. But with rigorous vocational training and commitments, they are excelling impressively. Events planning, as interesting as the field is, requires thorough planning and attention to details.”
