Funmi Unique enters with Unique Mighty Praise

Still basking in the euphoria of her last album, Funmi Unique, as fondly called by her admirers, is hitting music shelves again with a new album titled Unique Mighty Praise.

According to her, “gospel music is in diverse ways and people’s views about it are different. Anybody can come up with funny songs and call them gospel songs but one needs to be sure of his or her salvation and be assured that he or she comes up with songs that will touch lives. That’s what gave birth to the latest album.

An artiste with unique voice, she said that the album is laced with heavy percussion complemented by western instruments such as guitar, saxophone, trumpet, etc and that the album remains a must for homes.

Asked if she has considered collaborating with other artistes, Funmi said, “I have not thought of one at the moment but I hope to do collaborations with well known artistes in future.”

Asked who her mentor was in the music industry, she replied, “God is my mentor and role model in the realm of music. He is the one who has given me the grace to compose beautiful lyrics and songs.

The four track album is already on the airwaves with the title track ‘Unique mighty praise’ and three others titled ‘Lift him higher’, ‘Osu Tuntun’ and ‘Prayer/ revival songs’
