You may recall that Adesiyan contested a seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly in 2015 on the platform of the Peoples Democractic Party (PDP) but lost to Accord Party’s (AP) Ademola Ige.
As the 2019 general election draws near, Adesiyan, R gathered has begun consultations for another political step, which is yet to be made known to people even as she promised to make her intention known as soon as she returns to the country any moment from now.
When R asked about her next moves, Adesiyan declined to comment on her next step politically but hinted that she has never left politics despite losing in 2015, adding that “it is too early to talk about my next political step but we are working and consulting widely. As soon as I am ready to let the world know about my next step, you will be the first person to know.”
Asked if it is true she is under pressure, the actress turned-business owner said “Under pressure from who? I am one woman who goes for what she wants irrespective of what they naysayers might say. As I said, it is too early to talk now,” she said.
