A few weeks after approval from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for Telecommunication operators to increase tariffs by 50% for the first time in 11 years, MTN Nigeria has announced a review of its data plan prices.
The decision was said to have been a result of telco companies facing rising operational costs, forcing adjustments across the industry.
Under the new pricing structure, MTN Nigeria’s 15GB weekly data plan has surged from N2,000 to N6,000, Tribune Online earlier reported.
