The trucks were said to have been released on the orders of President Muhammad Buhari.
The Nigerian Tribune gathered that Buhari directed the NNPC to as well make the product available in all the states of the federation with immediate effect after which all issues arising for the scarcity would be resoled.
Our source said that the trucks were accompanied by combined team of security forces comprising the Navy, Air Force, Army, DSS, Civil Defence.
The source added that the security personnel were under strict instruction to ensure full delivery of the products with signed documents.
It was also gathered that the petrol stations were warned not to sell the product above the approved pump price of N145 per litre.
Folowing this development, all the fuel stations are now with dispensing the product to the members of the pubulic and the normal life activities full restored.
