FUD announces date for combined convocation

The Federal University Dutse (FUD) in Jigawa state is slated to hold its 6th and 7th combined convocation ceremonies on the 24th of this month (24th, February 2024).

This was contained in a press statement issued, signed and made available to Online Tribune by the Deputy Director, Public Affairs of the university (FUD), Abdullahi Yahaya Bello in Dutse, the state capital, said as part of the occasion “The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof . Muhammad Ali Pate will also deliver the Pre-Convocation Lecture”

According to the statement “the lecture is titled: Human Capital in the Era of Polycrisis to be presented on Friday, 23rd of February, 2024 4:pm”.

“The former Minister of Education, Professor Ruqayyatu Ahmad Rufai, OON will chair the Pre-Convocation Lecture by the health minister.”

He maintained that a multi-billion naira project would be commissioned at the Rasheed Shekoni Teaching Hospital by Prof . Muhammad Ali Pate, before he (the minister) delivered the lecture, on Friday, 23rd of February, 2024

The deputy director of public affairs noted that the combined convocation will be an investiture of the 2nd Chancellor of the university, His Majesty King W.S.Joshua, Igbugburu, the X, CON, (JP), the Ebenanawei of Bomo Kingdom and the Pioneer Chairman of the Bayelsa State Traditional Council on Saturday, the 24th of February,2024 by 9:am.
