Dr Kayode Olagunju, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Zonal Commander for Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara, has called on the corps’ personnel to exhibit good conduct during 2019 general elections.
Olagunju cautioned officers of the commission to shun all forms of corruption and ensure swift response to rescue calls from road users in the interest of effective service delivery
He made the caution in his maiden inspection at Sokoto Sector Command on Tuesday after assuming office as the zonal commander.
”I call on all FRSC staff to be dedicated to their duties, the command will ensure proper implementation of the reward and punishment policy of the commission,” he said.

He said that the command would put measures in place to penalise officers who indulged in bribery and other corrupt practices within the system.
Olagunju said that the command would ensure increased working partnership with stakeholders in safeguarding lives along the highways.
He urged motorists in the zone to be safety conscious, adding ”we have to avoid overloading, speeding and dangerous driving at all times.”
The Commander assured members of the public that the command under his watch would ensure effective traffic service delivery.
Olagunju said he would put his wealth of experience to use in undertaking his responsibilities in the zone.
He urged them to be disciplined, well comported and always be civic in approach while on patrol.
The Sector Commander, Mr Kaigama Kabo, thanked them for the visit which would serve as motivation to personnel.
