A-non profitable financial foundation ‘Sam Oyus Foundation’ on Tuesday disclosed that it has earmarked a total sum of N100 million for the acquisition of modern technology and digital skills for unemployed youths in Osun state.
The founder of the foundation, Mr Samuel Olayinka Oyedotun who dropped the hint at a programme in Modakeke, explained that the financial assistance was to provide needed guidance and financial support to various categories of people and will further empower the youthful generation in numerous skill acquisitions.
“Through this foundation, we will provide the needed guidance and financial support to various categories of people in our society and we will focus on changing the mindset and thoughts of our youths, which will give them and other beneficiaries a place in the competitive global market as well as boost job creation and reduce unemployment.
‘”We will educate our farmers on modern techniques and ways of farming while providing start-up capital, we will revitalize the SMEs, we will provide scholarships to our sons and daughters in primary and secondary schools as well as tertiary institutions”, he added.
Oyedotun stressed that he has taken the moment as a golden opportunity to further give back to society seeing the need and challenges people are going through to make ends meet.
According to him, “I am happy to announce the launch of Sam Oyus Foundation (SOF) with N100 million for short, medium and long term implementation model.”
The Founder of the project who has just been appointed as board chairman of the Water corporation by Governor Adeleke, appreciated him for the opportunity given to him to serve the people of Osun state and pledged not to let them down.
