Foundation distributes patrol motorcycles, rain kits, others to Offa security personnel

MUYIDEEN Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has distributed four patrol motorcycles, searchlights, rain kits and cash support to Offa security personnel to further strengthen security consciousness in Offa community in Kwara State.

The motorcycles and other security apparatus were distributed across the districts in Offa to further fortify the efforts of the security personnel in securing the lives and properties of people in the community.

In a meeting with the security council, the MOK Foundation executives members noted that MOK holds the security of lives and properties of the people in the community in high esteem and deems it fit to strengthen the security personnel’s efforts in discharging their service.

A member of the executive of the foundation, Mr Moshood Tewogbola, reiterated MOK’s efforts to touch all areas of challenges confronting the people at the grassroots and effect positive changes.

He said the security apparatus was distributed to strengthen security consciousness and vigilance in the Offa community.

Also speaking, Mr Saheed Lawal said the security of the lives and properties of people is paramount to MOK and cannot be taken with levity. He added that the security intervention is a concerted effort by the foundation to motivate and encourage Offa security personnel who have been working to ensure a safe and secure community.

While reacting to MOK security intervention, one Oluode Asanta, praised the convener of the foundation to motivate the security men who are spending all nights outside their comfort zones.
