Former minister expresses shock over Badeh’s dead

FORMER Minister of information and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) governorship candidate in Nasarawa state, Hon Labara Maku, said he was shocked over the dead Alex Badeh, the immediate chief of Defence who was attacked by unknown gunmen.

Maku, who stated this at Ado, Karu Local Government of Nasarawa State, described his death as a great loss to Nigeria and an asset the nation missed.

He, therefore, called that the security operatives to carry out an investigation that led to his death to fish out the perpetrators.

“I worked with Badeh when I was Minister of Information and Supervisory Minister of Defence. He is a talented soldier I ever met. He is full of vision and capacity, and under him, Nigeria begins to built domestic drowns which former president Goodluck Jonathan commissioned in Kaduna State. These drown are now monitoring security across the nation.”

Adding that insecurity has become a major challenge in Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large, affirming that in hundred days of his administration the era of kidnapping and killing will end if given the mandate to govern the state in 2019.

“People will no longer go farm with fear any more. I will give people peace and security without which we cannot develop a Nasarawa State.

“And of course, we are planning to transform Karu LGA, where we shall build infrastructure and industries for the development of the state,” he stated.
