Foluso Gbadamosi hosts book soiree

AUTHOR, Forbes Coaches Council member, and Gallup certified strengths coach Foluso Gbadamosi has unveiled her latest book, ‘Unleash Your SuperPowers for Teens’,  at a soiree at the Art Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event featured engaging activities, including an impromptu speech competition, teens’ fireside chat, live music, parents’ corner, media conversation, and an audience-involved aerobics performance.

The soirée went beyond a traditional book launch, offering an immersive experience that actively engages participants.

Gbadamosi also announced her “Sponsor a Student” and “Sponsor a School” campaigns during the event.

She said the campaign aims to empower students and their families to create brighter futures.

Gbadamosi added that the campaign aligns with the book’s core message of helping teens discover and harness their potential and achieve their highest capabilities.

The event was hosted by presenter and TV anchor Olive Emodi alongside talented teen co-host David Oke.

Key speakers were Gbadamosi; her daughter Simisola Gbadamosi of Disney & Kugali Media’s Iwájú; Founder of David Elis, Opeyemi Oke; her musically gifted son David Oke; MD/CEO and Senior Brand Strategist at Eight Twenty Two, Francis Adeshina; and his tech whiz daughter Mojoyinoluwa Adeshina.

Co-founder of VFD Group Plc, Adeniyi Adenubi; Founder/CEO at Road14 Studios and Chief Operating Officer of Flytime Promotions, Keke Hammond; TV host and board member Rolake Akinkugbe Filani judged the impromptu speech competition.

Gbadamosi explained that Unleash Your Superpowers for Teens is designed to equip teenagers with essential tools for success while providing parents, guardians, and teachers with a comprehensive guide to support their teen’s journey.

The Forbes Council Member described the book as a valuable resource for families, offering practical advice to navigate adolescence and unlock their full potential.

“Grounded in proven research, Unleash Your Super Powers for Teenagers & its Companion Guide leverages the strengths-based approach, which studies show makes individuals six times more likely to be engaged in their work and three times more likely to have an excellent quality of life,” she said.

She explained that it is a vital tool for shaping the next generation of leaders and changemakers.
