FMC Asaba lauds Seyi Tinubu’s health intervention in tertiary hospitals

The management of Federal Medical Center (FMC), Asaba lauded for being one of the early beneficiaries of Seyi Tinubu health interventions in tertiary hospitals.

Speaking on behalf of the management team, Dr Osiatoma Victor Azubike, the medical director of the hospital expressed his joy that the intervention is timely considering the number of indigent patients the hospital attend to on a regular bases.

He emphasised that the donated drugs and medical consumables will go along way in relieving the economic burden of care on indigent patients.

The National Coordiator of the project, Dr Benson Ayodele Cole, appreciated the warm reception accorded the project by the Hospital management and encouraged them to make judicious use of the drugs and ensure that indigent patients are not short changed.

Also the beneficiary of Seyi Tinubu residency training scholarship, Dr. Joseph Ajanwenyi appreciated Mr Tinubu’s kind gesture and pledged to make proper use of the fund for the purpose it is meant for.

Pharm. Ojeje Amin Onimisi who represented Seyi Tinubu applauded the coordinating team of the program but however implored the team to improve on their speed so as to cover all the hospitals that have been registered to benefit from the program within the stipulated time.
