The management of EcoFlow, a global pioneer in portable power and renewable energy solutions, has restated its commitment to reducing its carbon emissions footprint in Nigeria.
The Business Development Manager, EcoFlow Nigeria, Isaiah Umoh, stated this in Lagos while briefing the media and other critical stakeholders in the nation’s energy sector about the company’s debut and its latest offerings in the market.
He noted that the deteriorating power supply in some parts of the country, and its attendant effects, have become a significant concern for individuals and businesses.
Umoh, therefore, believed that the official launch of the company’s operations, especially its latest offerings—the RIVER 3 Max Plus and other products, including the RIVER 2 Pro, DELTA 2, and DELTA 2 Max—marked a significant step in the company’s commitment to Africa’s renewable energy sector.
According to him, the need to provide alternative energy for individuals and businesses across the continent, especially in Nigeria, stemmed from the urgent necessity to address the challenges faced by such individuals and businesses due to poor power supply.

He described the company’s strategic market entry as reinforcing its dedication to supporting Nigeria’s transition towards a carbon-neutral economy, advancing the renewable energy sector while simultaneously addressing the nation’s persistent energy challenges.
Umoh argued that in a nation where over half of the population faces unreliable grid connectivity, the daily struggle to maintain productivity and normality amidst frequent blackouts—averaging 160–180 days per year—exerts a heavy toll on both homes and businesses, disrupting work and leading to data loss and economic setbacks.
He explained that the company’s decision to introduce a range of portable power solutions stemmed from the belief that the nation’s economic future hinges on the swift implementation of enduring, affordable, and sustainable energy alternatives.
“With energy reliability being a constant challenge in Nigeria, we recognise the urgent need for a solution that is both practical and sustainable,” he stated.
Umoh, therefore, expressed the company’s determination to redefine the power landscape by offering clean, efficient power for individuals and businesses.
