Residents of the village, who now count their losses after being rendered homeless, are now taking refuge in neighbouring villages.

Meanwhile, the Senator representing Bauchi North Senatorial District of Bauchi State, Senator Samaila Dahuwa Kaila, has condoled with the people over the fire incident.

The Senator urged the people to accept the happening as an act of God, calling on them to accept it as their fate and look up to Allah for divine intervention.

He called on the state government, State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) as well as the Federal Government for quick intervention.
