Fire engulfs furniture warehouse in Lagos

Fire broke out of a furniture warehouse along Fatai Atere road (directly behind LRU Office, Cappa), on Wednesday morning.

The huge fire which destroyed property, also spread to several offices complex near the showroom.

However, the timely intervention from Lagos Fire Service prevented the further spreading of the inferno to adjoining warehouses where chemical drums were being stored.

The cause of the incident is unknown as of the time of filing the report, but there was of life and nobody sustained injury.
