SINCE Adekunle Gold and Simi came into limelight, rumours about their closeness beyond music have dominated discourse on the social media space and other platforms.

At a point, it was Falz the bad Guy that many thought was in the picture. Reason was that Falz and Simi had featured each other in a couple of songs and videos which gave the impression that something was going on between them. They never attempted to debunk the insinuations because it was working for their different brands at the time. But that was not to be as events later revealed that Simi’s heart was with Gold.

Days back, when news came to town that Gold and Simi were planning to have a traditional wedding on Wednesday, many people waved off the news, but soon, videos and pictures from the wedding went viral on the social media.

The social media came alive following comments, pictures and prayers for the new couple as they tied the knot, an occasion that was reported to have been graced by 300 people in Lagos.

Surprisingly, the new couple who were believed to have put to an end all questions about their rumored relationship are yet to comment on the development as of the time of this report.

What could their silence possibly mean? But regardless of their actions, fans, friends and colleagues   such as Davido among others took to their Instagram pages to send congratulatory messages to the new couple on their supposed union.
