Fijabi donates cars, motorcycles, freezers to people in constituency

A former member of the House of Representatives, representing Ibadan south-west/north-west Federal Constituency area of Oyo State, Honourable Saheed Akinade-Fijabi last weekend donated four Sienna cars, motorcycles and freezers to members of his constituency.

Fijabi, who was chairman, House Committee on Telecommunications in the 8th Assembly said the gesture was borne out of his desire to appreciate members of his constituency for the trust they reposed in him in the last eight years.

“I have promised my people that this kind gesture would not stop since God blesses whom He wills, we would give back to society. This is not about politics alone, even the bible says so, whoever you can help, just help at the right time.

“We are giving out cars, motorcycles some freezers to some people in my constituency not basically our political followers.

“This is not the end, more will still come because this is borne out of a sincere commitment to serve my people,” Fijabi said.

The beneficiaries lauded Fijabi for the gesture and pray God to continue to be with him.

“I will forever be grateful to Honourable Fijabi for this gesture because it goes beyond my imagination. We all thought that it is the end of getting dividends of democracy after he lost the ticket to return to the National Assembly. We appreciate him so much for this wonderful action,” said one of the beneficiaries, Alhaja Rasheedat Busari.
