FG’s reactivation of rail transport

Published by

IN the past, bulky luggage were conveyed by trains from the East to the North and from the North to the West. Accidents, whenever they occurred, particularly during the rainy seasons, were very minimal. On those rare occasions, passengers might not get to their destinations in time.  However, rail transport was beneficial to Nigeria and Nigerians in many ways. The fares were low. In this connection, the recent efforts by the Federal Government to revive rail transportation is highly commendable.
