A high-level Federal Government delegation on Wednesday arrived Maiduguri in connection with the accidental bombing of an IDP camp in Rann by a Nigerian Air Force fighter jet.
The delegation included Chief of Staff to the President Abba Kyari, Ministers of Defence as well as Information and Culture, Mansur Dan Alli, and Lai Mohammed respectively and Chief of Defence Staff, Gabriel Olonisakin.
Others are the Chief of Air Staff, Sadik Abubakar, and the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai.
The delegation was received at the Maiduguri Airport by the Theater Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, Lucky Irabor.
Members of the delegation were scheduled to visit the state Governor, Kashim Shettima, Shehu of Borno Abubakar GarbaI Al Amin El Kanem, and the hospitals where those injured from the bombing are being treated.
