It has become a usual practice for those under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for corruption to use their health condition as an excuse to prolong or even avoid prosecution. They do this by applying to go abroad for medical check-up. I urge the Federal Government to equip EFCC’s medical facilities appropriately in order to facilitate the prosecution of offenders.
