The federal government has approved a downward review of the electricity traffic for customers under Band A from N225/kWh to N206.80/kWh.
This review of the electricity tariff against the stipulated N225/kWh announced by the Nigeria Electricity Regulations Commission (NERC).
According to the announcement, the downward tariff review of Band A feeders became effective on 6th May 2024, with guaranteed availability of 20-24hrs supply daily.
The company also stated that the tariff for Bands B, C, D, and E remains unchanged.
Meanwhile, Tribune Online had earlier reported that Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IE) in a statement on Monday, stated; “Please be informed of the downward tariff review of our Band A feeders from N225/kwh to N206.80/kwh effective 6th May 2024 with guaranteed availability of 20-24hrs supply daily.
