FG, honour these icons

Published by

Chief Adeniyi Akintola (SAN) is a legal icon and a patriotic citizen of Oyo State. He is a very vociferous legal practitioner who does not hide his feelings on matters of national interest, particularly as they affect the governance of Nigeria from the federal level to the grass roots. Madam H.O  Ogunesan is a permanent secretary at the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Maters in Oyo State. Mrs Ogunesan was part of those who joined hands with the Oyo government to end the strike declared by the NigeriaNLC under the leadeship ofcomrade Waheed Olojede. Chie Akintola and Madam Ogunesan have been contributing immensely to the progress of this state. Chief Akintola (SAN)  assists undergraduate law students; he is always ready to help the children of the poor to pay their tuition fees.

He has touched many people’s lives. Mrs Ogunesan is expected to mandate all the primary school teachers in Oyo State to change the system they are using to teach our pupils. It is the duty of teachers to build a future for their students. I want to make a passionate appeal to the federal government to bestow a national award on both Chief Adeniyi Akintola and Madam H.O Ogunesan.

Both personalities have been doing well in Oyo State without making any noise about it. If the Federal Government under the leadership of President Muhamadu Buhari could recognise them, it will encourage them to do more for the nation.
