FG, bring back teacher training colleges

Published by

Discipline is the bedrock of all undertakings. For a nation to achieve many things, it certainly  needs discipline.  Nigeria’s pioneer leaders such as Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Alhaji Tafawa Balewa were exemplars of discipline.

In the past, teacher training colleges assisted the nation to teach moral, spiritual, and physical education.

It trained would-be teachers how to adapt to any environment in which  they  found themselves.

If the teacher training colleges are brought back, they will instill discipline in the society like President Muhammadu  Buhari did in 1984 through his War Against Indiscipline (WAI) programme.
