Femi Solar shines at City People grand reception

There could not have been any  moment greater than being honoured for remaining consistent in doing what makes people happy.

This statement aptly captured the mood in Gbagada, Lagos State, last week Sunday when City People Group, led by its publisher, Seye Kehinde, held a grand reception in honour of Femi Solar for his remarkable rise in the Juju gospel circle.

The City People Event Centre, venue of the reception witnessed what many people described as the largest turnout of personalities.

From musicians, to actors and socialites, it was another day that confirmed Solar’s popularity and continous rise in the music scene as those who spoke with R confirmed that the Jasa star was fast becoming a force.

Speaking at the event, Kehinde described Solar’s remarkable rise as the basis for the reception, adding that “no one would controvert the fact that Solar has become one of the hottest acts in the Juju circles.”

Solar, who is warming up for the June, 12, 13 and 17 The Femi Solar Experience Concert in Ibadan, in his response said nothing could be compared to the outpouring of love that he received from his fans across the globe everyday.

Prophetess Mary Olujuwon Olubori, who was the spiritual mother of the day described Solar as a shining light. Other popular socialites at the gathering were Lanre Kolade, Prince Adeyinka Adetoyi, Chief Muiwa Akala

Adegbodu twins, Wale Dada, MC Kirikiri, Adeniyi Johnson and Seyi Edun were also on ground to add spice to the day.
