A Senior Secondary School student of Akoko Anglican Grammar School, Arigidi, in Akoko North West area of Ondo state, Habib Salau, was on Wednesday stabbed to death by a female student.
Habib was reportedly stabbed by the female student identified as Sandra during a misunderstanding between the two girl and deceased.
According to an eyewitness, who explained that the incident happened after the school hours, saying ” it was during the fight that the suspect stabbed the deceased with a knife.

He said “the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Specialist Hospital, mortuary, in Ikare.
All efforts to speak with the School Principal to comment on the death of the student proved abortive, but a teacher in the school who described the incident as unfortunate and tragic.
The teacher said the incident has caused panic in the school, as students of the schools,m have been gathering in group discussing the sad incident.
When contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Funmi Odunlami, who confirmed the incident, said that the case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for thorough investigation.
The PPRO said that police investigation would uncover the circumstances surrounding the death of the student.
