FEDPOFFA Rector Receives FUNAAB Pro-Chancellor, Aragbiji, on productive visit

The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin received in royal audience, Wednesday evening, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB), HRM Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV.

The prominent monarch, who was on his way from Abuja on an official engagement enroute Ilorin International Airport, paid an unscheduled-turned productive visit to the Rector in his office at the institution’s main Campus.

The warmth of homage paid by the Monarch’s host, Dr. Kadiri showed he had been eager and looking forward to meeting FUNAAB’S Council boss.

“Kabiyesi, I had actually intended to come over to your Palace. So, this homage ought to have been paid by me right at your Majesty’s Palace in Iragbiji”, the Rector said.

Responding to the Rector’s humble homage, Oba Olabomi, whose visit was maiden since appointment of Dr. Kadiri as Rector of the Polytechnic, prayed God for the Rector’s ease of tenure, protection, managerial wisdom, and further promotion upon successful tenure completion.

According to Aragbiji, the Polytechnic has not remained the same since assumption of the Rector given his introduction of educational novelty, innovation, proficiency and academic excellence into the institution as evident in his efficient managerial acumen as the Chief Executive Officer of the citadel of learning.

On the Pro-Chancellor’s journey was his Chief of Staff, Mr. Olayide Oladiti. Joining the entourage was Dr. Jimoh Olorede, a beloved subject-son to the traditional ruler who is Acting Head of Strategic Communication and Media Studies Department at the institution.

The FUNAAB’S Council boss, a Director of Personnel Management (DPM) of note until is accession to the royal throne, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (FCIPM), Fellow Chartered Institute of Management (FCIM), Fellow Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) and Member Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (MNIPR), among other professional awards.
