Federal Polytechnic Ede Alumni Association pays tuition fees for 46 students

The Federal Polytechnic Ede Alumni Association has paid the tuition fees for 46 outstanding students of the institution.

The disclosure was made by Comrade Olatunji Olorunfemi, the National Publicity Secretary 1 of the Association dated Thursday, August 22.

According to him, the cheques were presented during the inauguration of the 7th Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Ede, held on Monday, August 19, 2024.

The scholarship, which covers tuition fees amounting to ₦2,077,225, was awarded to the top-performing students, with ₦44,715.50 allocated for science students and ₦41,504.50 for non-science students.

The initiative was fully sponsored by the Alumni Association, demonstrating their continued support for the academic development of the institution.

The presentation was conducted by Professor Taiwo Olaiya, the Chairman of the Governing Council, in the presence of the Rector, Engr. Dr. Sani Man Yahaya, along with other members of the management staff and council.

Mrs. Adedoyin Balogun, President of the Alumni Association, expressed her gratitude to the Governing Council, the management team, and the entire staff of the institution.

She reiterated the Alumni Association’s dedication to supporting the students and fostering academic excellence at the Polytechnic.
