After enduring years of grudges, popular actresses in the Yoruba movie industry, FathiaBalogun and IyaboOjo have sheathed their sword and embraced each other. The long time beef was said to have stopped them from working together on movie projects and other entertainment related engagements.
The duo reconciled following the intervention of Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, MusiliuAkinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo and veteran actor, OlaiyaIgwe.
It is recalled that Ojo took to her Instagram page some years back to call out Balogun for snitching on her and accused her of being envious of young actresses in the movie industry but Blaogunhas kept mute since then.
The duo took to their respective Instagram pages to share pictures in which they pecked each other and announced that they have quashed their rift.
IyaboOjo wrote, “It’s all peace and love, Faithia Williams. How we would follow each other back on Instagram is what’s remaining. Instagram experts, over to you. Thank you @kingmcoluomo, @olaiyaigwefilms.”
Sharing the same picture on her Instagram page, Williams, who is also known as FaithiaBalogun, wrote, “Happy new year IyaboOjo. @kingmcoluomo, @olaiyaigwe films, more wisdom and understanding. Let peace reign.”
