Father defiles 14-year-old daughter for 7 years in Delta

A middle aged Keke rider, identified as Mr Amadioha, has been arrested in Warri for defiling his biological daughter.

Report says he has been having carnal knowledge of her 14-year-old daughter for the past seven years.

Mr Amadioha, from Imo State, lives at Ijaw Quarters in Bendel Estate and currently cooling his feet at the police station at Ugborikoko, Unvwie Local Government Area.

Tribune Online gathered on Tuesday that the girl, whose name could not be ascertained as of press time, spilt the beans when one of her classmates preached the Gospel to her.

“One Mr Amadioha from IMO State, a Keke rider that lives at Ijaw quarters inside Bendel Estate has been sleeping with his daughter of 14yrs for over 7yrs now.

“The daughter opened up to her classmate, who was preaching the Word of God to her and her classmate took her to their Pastor who reported the case to the Police at Ugborikoko Police Station,” a source disclosed.

Meanwhile, it was gathered that the police at the Ugborikoko Station are allegedly trying to sweep the incident under the carpet.

“The police are trying to turn the case to a family matter by sweeping it under the carpet,” a source disclosed to Tribune Online.

A Delta-based anti-human trafficking agent, Mr Joshua Omorere, who confirmed the incident and corroborated the claim, said the law must be allowed to take its course.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta State Command could not immediately confirm the incident when contacted on his phone.

He told this correspondent that he was yet to be briefed on the matter, but promised to call the DPO in charge of the station to ascertain the veracity of the incident and allegation against the police.
