According to the iconic creative Director of CHIC CITY, The matriarchs of his family, mother, grandmother, and aunties were the weavers of the local Igbo fabric.  As a child, his auntie would lead them into the embrace of the desert.  There they gathered art supplies like feathers bones, rocks, and sticks.  Each element, a gift from Her land, was woven into our tapestry of beauty.  In his words the feathers, beads, and vibrant paints are not mere materials, they are pieces of a story, chapters of a legacy.  They awaken my senses and sing songs of old that resonate with the deepest parts of me…”.
