Fans ask about Orezi’s whereabouts

Published by

There have been concerns among fans of Nigerian Afro pop star, Orezi, who has been missing in the music industry for a while.

The singer was said to have travelled out of the country for some years and was planning a comeback this year with a new EP, but nothing has been forthcoming from the camp of the Money Sweet singer.

Information gathered by R revealed that Orezi’s last song, No Advise Me, was released in 2022 and he’s yet to release any song this year.

Conversations ensued days back on social media platforms about some of Nigeria’s music stars who stopped reigning and went silent as some fans of Orezi asked about his whereabouts amid fears that he has turned his back on music.

Orezi, it was learnt, has been quiet, dealing with some personal issues as he lost a close friend and brother in May, which brought him out on social media where he made his last post.

A twitter user said: “Nigerian artistes rise and fall with no major impact because some of them don’t have evergreen songs that people could relate with even when they are no longer dropping songs.”

Findings by R however revealed that Orezi is in a good shape and has turned his back against music as revealed by a source who worked with the singer for a few years.

“I think the last time I heard about him, he was in the United Kingdom working on some new music content. He shot a video some months back but I am not sure he has released it. I know he’s probably working on something new but I can’t say much now because I have not seen him or heard from him for some months,” the source said.
