Fani-Kayode’s defection: Despite my push for APC Abuja hasn’t given me a call ― Joe Igbokwe

Published by

Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Drainage and Water Resources, Joe Igbokwe, has lamented the recent defection by Femi Fani-Kayode to the All Progressives Congress (APC) since the news broke, saying: “despite all my push for APC Abuja has not given me a phone call talk-less of inviting me for a coffee.”

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Igbokwe wrote: “Despite all my push for APC Abuja has not given me a phone call talkless of inviting me for a coffee with C in C but here is a political charlatan and prostitute being given a red carpet in the seat of power, Abuja.”

He commented on this post saying: “APC rewards enemies. They pamper enemies. This life no balance at all.”

He added: “Please I am ok where I am today but I know countless number of APC die hards who are 100% better than FFK. Nobody has remembered them. Not even a recharge card, not even a bottle of coke, not even thank you.”

Igbokwe went on to post: “Now that FFK who said the person in Aso Rock is not PMB has gone to the same seat of power to confirm that PMB is real, let Fayose go also to the Villa to speak the truth to power in order to rest the case.”

A few hours later he posted: “I pray that your loyalty will not be tested at a time like this the way mine is being tested at the moment.”

Igbokwe before his appointment as special adviser was the spokesperson of the APC, Lagos State chapter.
