Fani-Kayode’s attack on Gov Otti, insult to Igbos — COSEYL

The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, the apex sociopolitical youth group in the South East geopolitical zone has described the recent attack on the Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti from Femi Fani-Kayode as an insult to the entire Igbo Nation.

The youth body said that Igbos will not take such an insult from a misfit like Kayode who doesn’t know where he left his clothes after his bath.

In a statement issued in Owerri Wednesday by the President General of COSEYL Hon. Good Luck Ibem, he warned Kayode to take his mouth off the politics of Abia State

He said: “Abia state is not a Yoruba land, he should know his boundaries”.

He said: “We have not forgotten how he caused the killings, maiming and attacks on Igbos and their businesses in Lagos State which is still on today.

He hates Igbos with passion and his attack on the people’s Governor Dr Alex Otti is a confirmation of that”

The body reminded Fani-Kayode that Dr Alex Otti is not a criminal like him who collected N2 billion naira meant for the building and renovation of Port Harcourt Airport from Rivers State government during the administration of Dr Peter Odili when he was Minister of Aviation and he embezzled the entire money and never did anything meaningful with the money.

According to COSEYL Fani-Kayode claimed to be a lawyer and yet he has never appeared in court to defend a client not to talk of winning a case adding that this shows he is mentally unbalanced and unintelligent.

He said: “Just because he was given a token from Abia State stole wealth by Abia former governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to support his political lackey Okey Ahaiwe the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the last elections, and he decided to be disturbing the political atmosphere with valueless noise”.

COSEYL challenged Fani-Kayode for a walk with Governor Alex Otti and let people see who is the real deceiver while accusing Femi as a pathological liar who can lie without blinking an eye.

They warned Fani-Kayode to stay clear of the affairs of the Igbo nation else he will have himself to blame.

He said: “Governor Alex Otti is a prudent manager of resources and will never use Abia taxpayer’s money to fund any political litigation whatsoever”.

The Igbo youth body called on the Yoruba leaders to call their son Femi Fani-Kayode to order before he causes a war in the nation.
