Family announces funeral arrangements for Korede Are ‘Baba Gbenro’

The family of the late gospel movie producer and actor, Dr. Moses Korede Are, popularly known as Baba Gbenro of Abattoir, has announced funeral arrangements for the late actor.

Recall that Tribune Online reported the demise of Baba Gbenro on 14th November 2024 as announced by a co-gospel actor and producer, Oluwaseun Adejumobi on his verified Instagram page.

In a recent development shared by Damilola Mike Bamiloye on his WhatsApp channel, captioned “Rest on General,” the late actor will be buried at his residence in Iresa Apa on January 31, 2025. 

According to the communication shared on the channels, other activities before interment include: ‘Wake Keep,’ scheduled for January 30, 2025, at House to House Prayer Ministries, Ogbomoso, Oyo state.

Also, Drama Night will follow the same day at True Worshippers Church, Oke Anu, Ogbomoso, Oyo State while the Burial Service will hold at House to House Prayer Miniseries in Ogbomoso on 31st January 2025 before the procession to Iresa Apa for interment and reception. 

Finally, the family called on Nigerians and others willing to donate in support of the funeral arrangements to use a designated Zenith bank account number: 2211832650 with the name: Bamike Rebecca Are. 

Baba Gbenro, popular for his role in Mount Zion drama series: Abattoir, was the founder and International President of Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, based in Ogbomoso, Nigeria.

The gospel actor was born on 11th June 1965 and died on 14th November 2024 at the of 59 years.
