Dr Sam Adeyemi, the senior pastor and founder of Daystar Christian Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, has stressed the significance of critical thinking within churches, particularly in light of the increase of false prophecies in Nigerian religious circles.
In a recent interview with TVC News, when asked about his stance on pastors prophesying about political outcomes, Adeyemi emphasised the importance of discernment among Christians.
“There is nothing new under the sun. Prophecies are nothing new. There is prophecy on one hand, and there are people listening to it. My warning to Christians is for them to go to church with their brains,” he asserted.
