FAAN announces temporary power outage at Lagos airport today

The management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has again notified of another power supply to the international airport today to avoid the controversy that followed the three-minute power outage that occurred at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport about one week ago.

FAAN’s spokesperson, Obiageli Orah, said in a message on their website that the power cut today will last for a few minutes. It’s because they need to test their power equipment to make sure it works well.

The message said: “To serve you better, we’re testing our power equipment at Murtala Muhammed International Airport today. This means the power will be off for a short time this afternoon.”
