Experts and stakeholders have emphasised the importance of engaging in reorienting conversations with youths to prevent their involvement in illegal business activities.
They stated this during an event-tagged, socially speaking conference held at Waterfall Event Center, Oregun, Lagos state.
The founder, Zeerealty, Bolu Okunade said that, “The moment you turn 15, 16, 17 years of age, you should take responsibility for your actions, I mean, if you are engaged in illegal deals, you’re the one going to prison, not your parents. I will rather focus on the person, and try to have reorienting conversations.”
The Convener of the event, Wealth Ekesili Gbenga-Igbafen, described the conference, themed “Mastering The Art of Personal Excellence” as a transformative movement, designed to ignite a fire within young people to unleash their fullest potential and redefine excellence.”
She disclosed that its aim is to elevate youths from the limitations of a mediocre mindset to the heights of a world domination mentality, where they see themselves as powerful catalysts for positive transformation.

“The conference is to build a powerful network of change-makers who drive impactful initiatives, create opportunities, and invest in key sectors such as media and tech while fostering positive transformation through community training programs, food drives, and employment opportunities for the underprivileged.”
Delivering the keynote address, Pastor Enoch Boamah commended the Convener for the sacrifices and effort made to make the conference a reality.
To achieve personal excellence, he advised the youths to have faith in the Lord, to be prayerful and strong in the Lord and in the power of his myth.
