Exodus Aviation Academy concludes tour package master class

Exodus Int’l Aviation Academy has concluded a two-day tour package master-class for youths drown from different higher institutions in Ogun State.

Tertiary institutions and government agencies represented at this two day knowledge-driven tourism training include students from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic; Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Tai Solarin University of Education,  Ajayi Crowther University, Ministry of Tourism, Ogun State, among others.

The Director of Studies, Exodus Int’l Aviation Academy, Osogbo, Captain Emmanuel said

“The training is not only engaging the youths through different tourism-entrepreneurship skills and knowledge but also making them self-dependent.

He said the tourism training was organised by Exodus Aviation in conjunction with Miss Tourism, Ogun State 2018/19, rallied participants a free tour packaging master class in Abeokuta, where at the end of the programme participants were issued certificates of achievement as tour packaging experts after a short assessment and examination to determine their eligibility

Capt Emmanuel told participants that only the aviation, tourism and hospitality industry are one of the best option that can guarantee a sustainable future for the Nigerian youths if well harnessed.

He urged the participants not to expect free handouts as regards youth tourism development but should go out there and make things happen for themselves, adding that, “with the 5th edition of yearly free Youth Tourism Empowerment Initiative training, Exodus International Aviation Academy remains the only private institution in Nigeria promoting youth tourism through awareness, empowerment and youth engagement.

He said the training platform has been able to shape the future of many youth who will have been rooming the street without have any meaningful thing to do.

In his closing remarks, Captain Emmanuel disclosed that as part of activities to commemoration the 10 years anniversary of the Exodus Aviation, the management is rolling out a week-long youth tourism empowerment programmes billed to rally participants for an Aviation, Tourism & Hospitality Forum, Osun Youth Tourism Summit, the City Walk for Osun tourism and a raffle draw for aviation, tourism & hospitality scholarships, scheduled to hold at Ideal Nest Hotels & Suites, Osogbo, Osun State, from Tuesday, August 28 to Friday, August 31.
