Exercise patience, support FG’s economic agenda, Ondo govt urges students

Published by

The Office of the Senior Special Assistant on Students’ Affairs, Ondo State Government, has appealed to all Nigerian students, particularly those from Ondo State, to exercise patience and give the Federal Government more time to address the pressing issues facing the nation.

In a statement released by Hon. Kevin Solomon Olaolu, Senior Special Assistant on Students’ Affairs, urged students to support the Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to bring about positive change and development in the country.

Olaolu emphasized the importance of peace and constructive engagement among students, stating that Ondo State students dissociate themselves from any planned protests, violence, or destruction of public properties.

The statement reads in part: “We believe that meaningful change requires time… Let us remain steadfast in our commitment to the progress and prosperity of our great nation. Together, we can overcome our challenges and build a better future for all.”

This appeal comes as students across the country have been protesting against the government’s handling of economic, security, and educational issues.

The Ondo State Government’s call for patience and support may help to ease tensions and promote dialogue between students and the government.
