The internet buzzed with excitement as pre-wedding photos of Suad Onikijipa, the elegant daughter of Sheikh Sulaimon Onikijipa, and her fiancé Yahaya Mohammed went viral. The photos, released on social media sparked a wave of admiration and anticipation across the country.

Suad, known for her impeccable style and grace, looked stunning in a series of outfits that seamlessly blended traditional elegance with modern flair. One photo featured her in a regal, gold-embroidered abaya with a matching hijab, standing beside Yahaya, who wore a sharp agbada in matching tones. The serene desert backdrop added an air of timeless romance to the shot.

Suad and Yahaya’s love story had been the talk of their close circles for months. They had met at a conference in Abuja, and their courtship, guided by Islamic principles and family blessings, was a blend of tradition and modernity. Sheikh Onikijipa had spoken fondly of Yahaya, praising his humility and ambition.

In the days following the release of the photographs, the excitement only grew. Vendors and event planners from across the country began pitching ideas for the upcoming nuptials, eager to be part of what was already shaping up to be a grand affair.

Though the wedding date remained under wraps, sources close to the family hinted that the ceremony would take place soon as friends reminiscenced the couple’s colourful introduction ceremony in September 2023 in Ilorin, Kwara State.
