Excitement as Air Peace makes inaugural flight to Freetown, Banjul, Dakar

Nigeria’s Air Peace Airline early in the week operated its inaugural flight to three African countries with an impressive passengers’ traffic, an indication that the African countries have confidence in the airline.

The airline whose aircraft departed the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Monday with over 80 per cent passenger load landed graciously at Freetown, Sierra Leone where the officials of government and and the Freetown airport expressed their excitement at the coming of Air Peace.

After the Freetown bound passengers had disembarked, the aircraft proceeded to The Gambia where it was also received by the country’s airport officials who pledged to offer the airline the required help to succeed.

The airline was equally well received by the Senegalese airport authorities who described the commencement of operations to the African countries as a sign of brotherliness and the determination of Air Peace to connect the continent together.

Reacting on the inaugural flight, the elated Chairman of Air Peace, Mr Allen Onyema described seamless air connectivity as pivotal to the socio-economic development of countries within the Economic Community for West African States (ECOWAS) sub-region.

Onyema whole dyed his commitment to unlock the economies of Africa, offer air travelers on seamless business and leisure travels and also create jobs across the African countries the airline operates to, declared”The launch of our Freetown, Banjul and Dakar services today brings our regional network to four routes and a total of 16 domestic and West Coast destinations with more than 80 daily flights.
