Examination and students’ attitude

Published by

EDUCATIONISTS have seen examination as a method of assessing a student’s ability in the knowledge of his or her subject. Naturally speaking, what comes to the mind of an ordinary student when he or she hears the word “exam” is simply recourse to reading. To some students, they feel happy when exams are around the corner due to the fact that they have been studying repeatedly and this makes them come out in flying colours.

One of the reasons why some students do have a negative attitude towards examination is due to lack of preparation as earlier mentioned, a lackadaisical attitude of not attending classes throughout the semester.

I want to use this medium to appeal to my fellow colleagues especially those in the tertiary level to make the best of time in the university by attending classes regularly and study hard for a brighter future.
